Towel Cake Wedding Gift | Favor Gift
One of the most beautiful wedding favor gifts and that I ever saw created by one of my sisters for a wedding reception. She crafted the towel into a beautiful wedding cake and decorated it with ribbons, held in place with pearl pins and hid CD in one of the layers, something extra but was not necessary. The towel cake favor was such a work of art that it stole the guests eyes from true cake itself. Everybody wanted to know how she had done it, how long it took and nobody with a camera pass the opportunity to take a snapshot of it. Creating a cake towel can be as simple or as complicated as you need it to be. It is easy to make and you can even add some personal touches like coordinating the color to sute with the wedding theme. Towel cake will make the favor gift an unforgettable part of the wedding, or even a wedding shower. Stage 1. Roll the fold of towels each towel of hand in to half longitudinally twice. Start with one end and roll the towels together. Put side. Repeat this with washcloths. Fold each bath towel in to half lengthwise and repeat folding until the width of the towel is roughly 6 “. Roll the two towels together like the hand towels. You should now have the three layers of the cake.
Stage 2. Assembling the layers Use large broad rubberc bands to hold each individual layer whole for firm handling. To decorate choose the color ribbons which coordinate with the towels or the wedding theme. Cut the ribbon in 60 “, 40” and 30 “lengths. Tie the large piece ribbon around the bath towels and repeat for the other two layers. The next step to do is to stack the cake layers with the largest layer at the bottom. I'm not sure I understand why you call this a favor. A favor is a gift given to each of the gifts at an event. The "towel cake" you refer to is a centerpiece.
